On January 18, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, big international institutional and venture Funds came together to discuss rebuilding Ukraine initiatives and current opportunities of investing in Ukrainian businesses.
The first day of the exhibition was marked by the visits of several significant delegations, for example, from the US House of Representatives (the lower house of the US Congress).
Even before the start of #CES2023, Ukrainian startups, participants of the Trade Mission, had another great meeting held with support of USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine (USAID CEP). They met with the SelectUSA government program team and its executive director Jasjit Singh. Startup teams received a lot of interesting information and many recommendations about the possibilities of this program and, in general, about business development in the USA.
Four startups were selected for pitches during the Silicon Valley Funding Summit organized by Angel Launch and Enrich in the USA. A hall full of investors and fund representatives, private conversations on the sidelines, partnership proposals - that's how the first day in the US went. Indeed, it was a great warm-up before the main event!
