Ukraine presents startups at the Silicon Valley Open Doors Conference12 Oct 2016

On April 21 the final of UVCA Challenge was held being jointly organized by UVCA and WNISEF. The winner will present Ukraine at the Silicon Valley Open Doors – one of biggest startup-conferences in the world, that is taking on May 25-26 at the Mountain View.

“…we give an opportunity to the Ukrainian startup of free presentation at the Conference. Historically every second project attracts investments after that”, - tells us the Executive Director of UVCA Olga Afanasyeva.
After conducting pre-selection Cardiolyse project was chosen as the winner – company presents the technology of digital healthcare which analyzes electro signals of heart any time whenever you are. Apart of that jury decided to award the second place with the opportunity to visit SVOD and talk to investors – the runner-up project Cluise is the smart-stylist application which organizes cloths and assists in shopping.

Jury of the contest was represented by leading professionals of Ukrainian and foreign investment market:

The startups was also reviewed by Nick Bilogorsky, the president of “Nova Ukraine” and IT-expert Evgen Rosinski. Startups that took second and third places becoming participants of TechCrunch Disrupt in San-Francisco in frames of Ukrainian pavilion. This special award was given to Cluise (smart stylist app) and PrePly (online-platfrom for searching for personal tutor).
