UVCA IT Day12 Oct 2017

Ukrainian Venture and Private Capital Association (UVCA), jointly with Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF), organizes great event called UVCA IT Day.

“UVCA IT Day" will be held with the participation of the Ukrainian start-up ecosystem leaders: Ukrainіan and world investors, entrepreneurs and start-ups who have already succeeded at the global market. As part of the event, the final of the UVCA Challenge: CES-Edition will take place, which will identify the 10 best IoT and Hardware startups in Ukraine. They will form the UATECH EXPO in framework of the CES-2018 in Las Vegas. As a prize the startups will at no cost get the place at CES 2018, the exhibition stand with their individual design and branding, and will get accompanied by additional media coverage (Ukrainian and international), mentoring and other assistance.

Also expo-zone of 20 best startups will be organized during “UVCA IT Day” to help all the guests and the jury to be better acquainted with the products.

Program:

  • Lifehacks from the last year winners. They will tell all the secrets about things should be done before traveling to the CES and features of communication during the Show. Recall that 7 of 8 participants in last year's Ukrainian section SES-2017 has already received investment.
  • Investment panel "Problems and Prospects of Venture Capital Investment in Ukraine". Moderator Andriy Kolodyuk, Founder and Managing Partner of the AVentures Capital Fund.
  • Actually, the final of the UVCA Challenge (with the pitch, and the Q&A section) and announcement of the winners. Attention, the startups presentation will be in English.

We remind that on October 9-11, we're also organize CES Bootcamp: Ukrainian edition for the 20 best startups shortlisted for the UVCA Challenge Final (it’s free, but only those startups that are shortlisted can participate). Some of the top local and international speakers and mentors will spend almost 3 days with selected startups covering topics from product development and pitching to marketing and recruiting.

Event on October 12 is an open for visit, everyone who wants to take a look at the development of Ukrainian start-ups, to communicate with entrepreneurs and investors, can visit it. Please note that participation in the event (besides finalists and jury members) is paid - 200 UAH.
